make up foundatio

red lips, a glittery bronzer, smoky eyes. However you want to look, it begins with that perfect, blank canvas.

There are two main choices in makeup foundation:

1. the texture of the makeup itself the finish of the makeup, after it's on your skin. All makeups have one of three finishes: dewy, matte, or satin. Dewy leaves a slight sheen (not a shine!) on your face. Satiny finishes give a natural look, and matte is a dry, flatter option. Oily skin works best with a matte or satin makeup. Combination or dry skin looks good in a satin or dewy finish.

Textures are more about ease of application, and coverage. Coverage can be light, medium, or full. Let's look at our options.

Liquid Makeup

Matching the color to your skin is key. Many stores have testers, department stores usually will give you a small sample to take home, and most stores allow returns if the color turns out to be wrong. Test the color in daylight, incandescent light (yellow-based home lighting), and fluorescent light.

Liquids vary in how much they cover. But it will usually say on the bottle if the coverage is light, medium, or full. You can personalize liquids further by choosing either an oil-free base, a water-base (good for combination skin), or a moisturizing base.Creativity is the word here. Mix and match. You might choose a non-oily liquid to use on the t-zone, and the same color and brand but in a moisturizing version, to use on the rest of your face.

Most liquid makeup is easy to apply using fingertips, but oil-free liquids should be applied with a foundation application brush, or a damp foam wedge.

Some new foundations (and blushes) will match the color of your skin once applied. If you have rosacea or melasma (dark patches, often on the cheeks), a smart-foundation won't work. It's less about covering and more about evening out your existing skin-tone.

Mineral Makeup

Ooo, the ease of application is totally irresistible. And mineral makeup looks good on all skin types. Coverage is not an issue. For quick, light coverage, just buff on one quick coat. For more coverage, use a thicker, more tightly packed brush (make sure your brush does not contain fur), and work the minerals into the skin. Don't worry, it won't clog pores and it washes off easily with soap and water. The more coats you apply, the more coverage you get.

Different brands of minerals have different finishes. Some impart a slight shimmer to your face, some are pure color. Most need to set for a few minutes after application before applying a setting powder, although some women prefer to skip the powder.

The fastest and easiest way to be out the door. And because these foundations come in compact form, usually with built-in mirror and sponge applicator, they are totally handbag-friendly and can go with you anywhere. Which is a good thing, because cream-to-powders tend to fade more easily than other foundations, and need touch-ups during the day. Coverage is light to medium.Just plain fun! Who doesn't love to play with soft, whipped, luscious, cool-to-the-touch textures. Mousse makeups blend easily when applied. You may even feel like you're airbrushing your face. Coverage is usually light, and unlike minerals, applying more coats doesn't work well. Choose mousse if you're complexion just needs a light boost.

Cream Makeup

Full coverage is the reason to choose a cream. Application takes time and skill, but with the right color and texture for your face, you can achieve a gorgeous, movie-star look. Loose finishing powder is a must - choose a shade that is translucent so it doesn't fight with the foundation color. Cream makeup can be applied with the fingers, carefully blending small sections of the face at a time. Or try a damp foundation application brush. Work the makeup until it is totally smooth, and don't forget your jaw line and a little below.Stick foundations are similar to creams in consistency, but are not as thick. You will need a finishing powder.

Personalize Your Foundation

Some women skip formal foundation and simply spot conceal, then finish with a light dusting of loose or pressed powder.
You can always use a tinted moisturizer and be done with the whole thing in seconds!
Foundations come packed with add-ins. You can find makeup with sunscreen, with moisturizer, with wrinkle-reducers, or with acne medication. It's all out there.
And because we are beautiful from the inside first, remember to check before you buy to make sure the product has not been tested on animals.

IELTS reading tips

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) reading module follow some predefined patterns. This type questions are more frequent in recent IELTS reading tests. Although Yes-No-Not Givens are considered to be the most difficult question type in IELTS, you will surely increase your accuracy if you become familiar with the three structures underlying all the questions of this type.

Firstly, you are sometimes asked to justify some comparisons. For example, the question may ask you to justify whether India had a higher GDP growth rate than China in 2003 or not. In this case, you may read in the respective reading passage that before 2005, for a decade, China maintained a GDP growth rate which was as high as that of India. I guess what you are thinking is right. The answer is surely 'NO' because the question claims India having a higher GDP than China whereas the reading passage clearly states their GDP to be equal. Moreover, the question mentions the data for 2003. If you are careful enough, you surely noticed that 2003 lies within the range defined as for a decade before 2005. So, you can confidently omit the choice 'Not Given'.

Secondly, there are sometimes questions in IELTS reading asking you to validate some causal or cause and effect relationships. For instance, a question reads the consumption patterns of the people in the industrialized countries are responsible for global warming. In this question, the cause is the consumption pattern of the citizens of industrialized countries. The effect of this is global warming. What you have to do is to make sure whether such relationship really exists or not. If there is no such relationship, your answer must be 'Not Given'. If you find some data in the reading passage supporting the relationship, your answer should be 'Yes'. Conversely, you have to answer 'No' when you find there is a causal relationship but it does not match with the question.

Finally, you have to draw conclusion based on a direct and given fact. Two pieces of instructions are provided, one in the question and the other in the respective reading passage. You just have to make sure the information matches with each other and thus confidently answer 'Yes'. However, you should go for 'No' if the information contradicts. 'Not Given' is the option you will choose if you fail to find enough information to decide either 'Yes' or 'No'.

In general, it is really important to always be careful about phrases those indicate some kind or range. Phrases like only, almost as much as, approximately are always there in the IELTS reading passages to confuse and misguide you. Hope you have a good time with IELTS.

Image result for IELTS READING tipsnews933.blogspot.comyou haven't read my previous article "Conquering Fear," then I recommend it for you to take a look. It says there about my struggle with IELTS in 2007. I know IELTS is tough at the beginning, but you'll get over it. I understand the feeling you've done everything, but it's not enough to succeed. Yes, the pride that says I don't deserve this because I study seriously. You're not alone in that sentiment. I said many times before the phrase "I got it," but then I was heartbroken when I've found out I didn't meet my expectations.

My friend, it's not the end of the world, I assure you that. You can be successful too like me, or much better than me. All you've got to do is pray to God for enlightenment and believe in yourself that you can actually make it. For instance, if you hear criticism from someone else, don't take it personally. Try to ameliorate yourself as much as possible and be positive all the time.

Twelve days prior to my examination day, I phoned an examiner if she could be my personal tutor for speaking; I'd just pay for her service. But she refused and informed me she couldn't help me with my poor English accent.

She further added, "You should have corrected it the time you began learning the language."Then I asked her, "Is it possible to achieve a band score of 7 in speaking?"She answered, "Yes, but you have less chance of success." Instead of being annoyed after our conversation, I didn't get upset. I even thanked her for her honest opinion.

On the following day, I told myself I would consider her remark as a challenge. I knew it was less than two weeks before my exam. But still, I could accomplish many things within this time frame. So every day, I tuned in to BBC radio and ESL podcast by Dr. Jeff McQuillan and Dr. Lucy Tse. I often talked to myself alone in front of the mirror, pondering all possible topics from the interviewer.

On Oct. 12, 2013, I took the test. I was so excited that day because I've waited for this opportunity. I knew I could pull it off. During the interview, the examiner was so nice to me. I started talking as much as I could and felt good about myself. The entire interview lasted for eleven minutes and went well. He then told me to wait after 13 days for the final result.

After the allotted time, I verified my IELTS score on the Internet. To my big surprise, I received 7 in speaking and 7 overall. Now, I'm so happy because I can renew my Visa Screen Certificate as a professional nurse in the US; It's really worth a try because I've conquered my fear once again. I trust myself when no one is believing in me except my family and our Lord Jesus Christ.

IELTS Tips

In listening, always read the instructions first. Some say this is the easiest part in IELTS, but I think it's complicated because you'll find matching exercises, a variety of accents, filling in spaces, completing information, etc. However, doing daily exercises will sharpen your ears in the long run.

In reading, always read the instructions first. Don't spend too much time in one question when it's difficult to grasp an idea. Skip it and answer other questions. Apply your scanning and skimming techniques. Look for the keywords and understand what you're reading. Don't cheat when doing exercises. In real IELTS, you'll not be given any extra time. In writing, write eligibly. Read the questions carefully and follow the instructions. Make sure you avoid repetitive words. For instance, if you use the word "important," don't use it again in the following sentence. You can use its synonyms "essential" to show your reader that you have a wide range of vocabulary.

In task 1, you need to write at least 150 words; in task 2, you have to reach 250 words in order not to lose mark. Focus on task 2 because it has more score than task 1. You have to finish the test in one hour.In speaking, I think this is the most difficult part in IELTS. Every now and then, you hear from your mentor that you must be confident at all times. The truth is, it's easy to say, yet difficult to do, right?

Before going to an interview, you must be prepared. Constant practice is helpful in developing self-confidence. It also increases your chance of getting a good mark in the exam. Because no matter how you condition yourself, in actual interview, you'll still feel nervous. That's just a natural occurrence. But you could build faith in oneself through daily practice.

Google AdSense allows bloggers and website owners to earn money by displaying Google ads on their websites. These advertisements, when clicked, will let the advertisers know and they'll pay you through Google AdSense.Basically, you need to sign up for an AdSense account and add the code to your blog or website. You can choose how your ads would look like, where will show up and what kind of ads you will put up on your blog or site.

There are two ways to make money using AdSense:

Clicks - your earnings will be based on how many people clicked on the ads.
Impressions - you'll earn based on the number of page views of posts with ads.
Who are qualified to use AdSense?
If you're using self-hosted WordPress, you can visit the AdSense website and sign up for an account. After you signed up, you'll receive a code that you can place anywhere in your site.

You can now earn using the program but you should know that it takes a long time and tons of traffic before you can receive a big income.Google AdSense can potentially give you a stable income or much more than that.

There are people who earn hundreds of thousands per year in AdSense revenue alone. Although, this takes time, large audience, quality content, and SEO before you can actually earn that big.

How can you get the most out of AdSense?

news933.blogspot.comBuild your links to increase traffic on your website. You'll have a greater chance of accumulating cash if your site has a steady number of visitors.
Write quality content for your site and make sure that it's SEO-ready so search engines will send a lot of "targeted" users who needs your content.
Choose you ads carefully; it should be attractive and eye-catching so there's a high tendency that your visitors will click it.

Also, read their terms and condition before trying it so you'll know what's okay and what's not.Remember that you should never click your own ads because that's cheating.Google can tell if you're clicking it yourself and don't encourage friends or family to do it. Google has a system that can detect this kind of cheating.

John Richards has many years of experience creating and developing books, ebooks, manuals, and videos, on a variety of subjects, including online wealth, pet care, Internet marketing, direct mail, health and wellness.

throughout all of your searches, you've more than likely discovered a program called "Google AdSense". And believe it or not, this is a great program to be involved in.

Now you will see a lot of ads and a lot of people boasting about their AdSense income. Some people will even show you a check that Google sent them - which is against Google's terms of service. But you should know that beyond the hype lies a truth that is absolute in whatever niche that you are in.

The "truth" is that many online business owners have found little-known ways to TRY and "cheat" Google AdSense. No I'm not talking about clicking on their own ads and having their friends click on ads also. No. I'm talking about ways that seem legitimate at face value, but once you take a look at how they are earning their income - it's a total fraud.

In today's lesson, I would like to share with you some of the scamming ways that people online try to make money with AdSense... quickly, and hugely. You should know that Google isn't dumb, and some of the methods that I will tell you today are methods that Google has already cracked down on, and are still cracking down on till this day. Here's scamming method number

An "auto blog" is simply a blog that populates itself using content from RSS feeds. So someone can start from scratch, get a WordPress blog, fill up content from RSS feeds, place their AdSense ads in areas that doesn't make it look like an ad, and start bring visitors to it immediately from blogging and pinging.

And then... they go out and create THOUSANDS of these kinds of blogs. Yes, not hundreds... thousands of blogs. This is what people actually do. Now like I said, Google is picking up on this technique and are banning peoples' AdSense account left and right. They're not even eligible to apply anymore.

Google is very smart, and if you try to game them this way, you will get caught. Here's another scamming method that you shouldn't do.Build up a social network of friends to click on your ads for you

This is a sneaky little trick that a lot of people use. What they do is that they go to forums and make friends... go to social networking sites and make friends... and go on the social bookmarking sites and make friends too - and they all "help" each other out with their AdSense incomes by clicking on each other's ads.

The way that Google cracks down on this methodology is by viewing the IP address of where the clicks came from. If they see a recurring click pattern from the same IP addresses time and time again,
